Call this post a new awakening. After a too-long hiatus, the blog is back! I can’t promise a daily post, but I have committed to new content as often as possible. So Hi, Welcome, and read on.

We’ve all had a tough, tough year. But there’s a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel! I’m booking in-person events for the fall. I invested some quality time reclaiming my quilting mojo and hope to teach beginning quilting locally soon. I’m working on some new shapes and ideas for cases and handbags. Did you know that make up my new designs in paper before I put scissors to fabric? I use old wrapping paper for this task; it’s one of my favorite secret weapons. It’s plentiful (around here, anyway), it’s cheap, and with luck, it’s gridded on the back. I use it for mock-ups, for pattern drafting, and for altering patterns, too!

So welcome back! Grab a cup of coffee and look around. The Bucklebee Toolbox has some useful and hard-to-find tools that will help give all of your sewing projects a one-up.
